    A hidden treasure
I found this book in a $5 dollar rack in Lifeway and bought it. I love music and thought it might be a decent book…and was I wrong! It was a fantastic book!

Don’t Judge This Book By It’s Cover
From the first sentence, I was hooked. “It was a glorious blaze, the fire we set.” Oh, this author can write!

Not what I expected at all!
This isn’t the type of book I usually choose to read, and I was a little leery about how the occult issues would be handled.

    Real – Scarry- Hopeful
I do not usually pick up books with a cover like this one. It is part of a 2 book series. Both are wonderful. They are so real you feel each character.

    Great Writer/Great Book
This is the second book of Creston Mapes that I have read the first being “Nobody” and he is such a great writer.

    A must read
We read this book for my church book club. I was a little skeptical because of the subject and really didn’t want to read it.

    Interesting
I found dark Star to be a dark novel to start off with, yet totally filling me up with light by the end of it.

    Powerful!
Dark Star, Creston Mapes first novel, is probably the best book I have read so far this year. I don’t offer praise like that lightly; Dark Star earned it.
